Tissue Engineering Lab

The tissue engineering lab of the Pediatric Urology & Regenerative Medicine Research Center (PURMRC) has been active since 2007. The scope of research is focused on (but not limited to), production of natural and synthetic scaffolds, decellularization and recellularization of natural tissues. The lab offers services including decellularization of various human and animal tissues, as well as SDS detection. This lab is willing to collaborate with graduate and postgraduate students in proceeding their research projects and theses. In order to use the facilities of the laboratory, official arrangements should be made with the lab in-charge under the permission of the head of PURMRC through contracts or joint research projects. Herewith, we would like to invite students and researchers of the basic medical sciences to join the center or to collaborate through joint projects.

Lab in-charge: Dr. Zahra Hasannejad; PhD (Biomedical Engineering)

Secretariat: Masoumeh Ekhtiari; BSc (Medical Mycology)
